About Céline
A sailor’s soul and dedicated yoga teacher, I was born in Brittany, close to the ocean. With a business school degree in hand, I quickly set sail to explore the Asian cultures that fascinated me. I lived there for over twenty years before returning to Europe.
It was there, in Asia, that yoga entered my life — initially by chance, one day when I was drawn to voices chanting mantras behind a door. I listened, stepped inside, and sat down… that was 22 years ago, my very first class. Since then, yoga has never left me.
A Journey of Transformation
For many years, I was a dedicated practitioner: Vinyasa, Hatha, Iyengar, then traditional Krishnamacharya yoga. I also deepened my meditation practice with the same commitment.
The turning point came during my pregnancy, supported by an exceptional prenatal yoga teacher. This experience helped me so much that I felt the need to deeply understand how yoga could be so beneficial. That’s how a true inner journey began.
I chose an in-depth traditional training over three years, in the lineage of the renowned Krishnamacharya, the founder of modern yoga. What started as a personal quest became a passion and then a profession. I discovered in teaching a profound joy of sharing — and in yoga, an endless well of knowledge.
Today, yoga is my daily anchor. It helps me inhabit my body, breathe fully, and face life’s challenges with greater clarity. It is a precious tool for health, clarity, and transformation. My wish is to teach it with respect, adaptability, and kindness, so it may illuminate the path of my students as it has illuminated mine.
My Approach: Breath, Heart, Healing — yoga tailored to you.
I trained in the Madras tradition of Krishnamacharya at the Eka Yoga Institute (Singapore, 2012–2015), then in Yoga Therapy with the French Yoga Institute (Institut Français du Yoga) (2015–2017).
I teach a traditional form of yoga based on the art of adaptation: each practice is tailored to the individual(s) present, in full respect of their needs, capacities, and personal evolution. Sessions include postures, breathing (prāṇāyāma), meditation, and elements of yoga philosophy — offering a multidimensional approach that supports both body and mind.
Each class is built around a theme inspired by ancient texts, a mantra, or a core yogic concept, to nourish the practice and invite deeper personal reflection.
In the often hectic pace of modern life, I see each session as a space to slow down, reconnect, and restore.
A student once shared with me:
“Each session feels like a moving meditation. You create a space that feels deeply safe, calming, and nurturing — a space where I can finally slow down, reconnect, and be fully with myself. There’s no pressure to perform, no expectation to push or exceed limits. Just an invitation to listen, to feel, and to care for myself. It’s rare… and truly precious. I haven’t often found this in other yoga classes.”
This is exactly what I aim to offer: a living, respectful yoga that gently brings us back to ourselves.
